Course Description

Explore the elements needed to manage and execute a successful nonprofit event. It is essential to learn how to align the event with well laid-out objectives leading to positive mission impact. Events must have a well defined purpose and goals, with a established budget, venue, marketing plan, and a timeline for the event's execution, including post-event evaluation and follow up to attendees. Students will leave this class with a nonprofit event management checklist along with tips for success in planning and executing events.
