Course Description
Are you the next American Idol? Is singing your passion or hobby or are you a beginner? Have fun in this class no matter what your skill level. Students learn adapted vocal exercises and fun songs to sing as a group and alone in course; songs from movies; songs from Tik Tok; songs throughout the ages. Skills learned include harmony, range, low/high voice exploration, singing solo, singing with others, and performance craft. Students present a concert of these songs along with choreography, percussion instruments, and props at a showcase at the end of the course. Songs may include: A Million Dreams, Another Openin’ Another Show, Castle on a Cloud, Rhythm Of Life, Partner Songs: Swing Low, Shake The Papaya, Make New Friends, Kookaburra, Saints Go Marching In, Over The Rainbow, Simple Gifts, The Water Is Wide, and Shenandoah.Loading...
