Course Description

At a hospital or other facility, collect samples and perform other duties associated with phlebotomy.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Phlebotomy and BLS/ CPR certification, criminal background check and physical examination with current immunizations and personal health insurance coverage.

Note: Externships are only available during the day. Externship hours must be completed within one year of finishing the Phlebotomy course.
