Course Description

Have you ever tried tie-dye? Tie dying is accomplished by folding materials into a pattern and binding them with string or rubber bands. Designs are formed by applying different colors of dyes to different sections of the wet fabric. Learn the history behind tie-dye while also learning about the different techniques used in tie dying. We will tie-dye shirts, socks and other items. Bring two white t-shirts, a pair of white socks and a smock to class.
