Course Description

The N.J. Uniform Construction Code requires candidates for licensure to complete specified educational programs. Licensing is based on a combination of education, experience and testing. Call the Department of Community Affairs at 609.984.7834 for information on specific licensing requirements. Students must follow established prerequisites. Tuition Reimbursement: Up to 75% of student tuition may be refunded (subject to availability of State funding) provided students adhere to NJ state guidelines. Prerequisite: Building Inspector RCS and for licensing, seven years of construction experience.

Note: Courses designated as ONLINE are Remote Live Courses that are instructor-led and held on the scheduled class days and times using a secure online platform, i.e. Zoom or Canvas. Students will need a computer, laptop, tablet, etc., that includes a camera and a microphone and access to the internet.
