Course Description

Covers systems design, inspection methods and public health requirements pursuant to the Uniform Construction Code.

The N.J. Uniform Construction Code requires candidates for licensure to complete specified educational programs. Licensing is based on a combination of education, experience and testing.

Call the Department of Community Affairs at 609-984-7834 for information on specific licensing requirements. Students must follow established prerequisites. A portion of student tuition may be refunded (subject to availability of State funding) provided students adhere to NJ state guidelines.

Prerequisites

Courses must be taken in their proper sequence (ICS-HHS), and students must have at least 5 years' work experience under a master plumber.
